MATERIAL COLLECTIONS

Loan collections are located separately based on adults and children categories. It is divided into two types - fictions and non-fictions. Fictions are arranged alphabetically and are separated according to Bahasa Melayu and English books. Fictions are arranged according to Dewey Decimal Classification Numbers.
Loan collections can be found at the Children's Library on Level 1 and 2.

REFERENCE COLLECTION

PKPJ has a reference collection on various subjects. they are :
1. Encyclopaedias and dictionaries
2. Malaysiana Collection
3. General references/Administration and Management
4. Revision Examination Collection for UPSR, PMR, SPM and STPM 5. Seminar and Workshop paper

MULTIMEDIA COLLECTION

Included under this categories are materials in the form of audio cassettes, kits, video cassettes, compact disks, CD videos and CD ROMs on various topics like management, education, motivations, Islamic lectures, documentaries, environments, music, etc.
Each member is allowed to borrow 2 AV materials, which is placed under the AV loan collections.

NEWSPAPER AND MAGAZINES

The Library subscribes to 7 different daily papers for the patrons' reading pleasures. Newspaper cutting services for selected topics (current affairs) are also provided.
There are 180 magazines comprises favourite titles. For reference purposes, back issues of magazines, which are bound, are located on Level 2 - Reference magazines collections.
